- PDF Files & Documents: Core file manipulation tools (Compress PDF, Merge PDFs, Split PDF, Protect PDF, PDF to Image, Extract Text, Images to PDF) run entirely locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or monitor your files on our servers.
- AI Features (Summary & Chat): When using the AI Summary or Chat with PDF features, the extracted text contents are processed securely through the Google Gemini API. This connection is encrypted via HTTPS. The contents are not stored by us or used by Google to train generative AI models.
- Device Logs: We gather non-personal analytics metadata (such as device model, OS version, and installation IDs) to track crash rates and optimize application speed.
3. Third-Party Services and Analytics
Our app incorporates trusted Google Mobile Services (GMS) and Firebase integrations. These services may collect information used to identify your device. Below are links to the privacy policies of the third-party providers we utilize:

- Google Play Billing & Services: Validates premium PRO subscriptions, logs secure transactions, and handles deep-link dynamic referrals.
- Google AdMob: Serves non-personalized ads to Free tier users. AdMob uses advertising identifiers to prevent click fraud and manage frequency capping.
- Firebase Analytics & Remote Config: Logs production-ready events (such as ad loads, clicks, successful PDF merges, or failed scans) to monitor feature usage and dynamically adjust limits.
- Firebase Crashlytics: Records anonymous crash reports and stack traces so we can deploy hotfixes.
4. Data Security
We deploy robust organizational security. All passwords configured via the "Protect PDF" feature utilize industry-standard PDF encryption wrappers. Your history and database are stored inside the sandboxed space of your device storage and are wiped instantly if you delete files or uninstall the application.
5. Children's Privacy
AI PDF Toolkit does not target or knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has supplied us with personal identifiers, we take immediate action to remove the data from our logs.
